REC Poland nominated for Polish Innovation Award

REC Poland and Kampinoski National Park have been nominated to the reputable Polish Innovation Award 2015. Both institutions were classified as one of the most cutting –edge and innovative entities in the polish market, for the project Kampinos Wetlands conducted under LIFE+ and NFOŚiGW funds. This nomination is a clear evidence of a great success of our project and expresses acknowledgement to the effort we put in its implementation.
The Polish Innovation Award has been carried out for 3 years. It takes place during annual Enterprise Congress. It is a promotional program which rewards entities which excel in in the field of research and development and stand out in innovative concepts.
The initiator of above mentioned award is the Polish Agency of Enterprise. The Polish Innovation Award takes place during annual Enterprise Congress and is conducted by magazines: “Gazeta Wyborcza” and “Dziennik Gazety Prawnej”. The competition will be settled in autumn 2015 at the time of III Enterprise Congress 2015.
The aim of the project Kampinos Wetlands is to preserve and restore wetlands and moist habitats in Puszcza Kampinoska, in the area of Natura 2000 network. This project results will be gained by: inhibition of succession in the open moist habitats, improvement of moisture as well as by reduce conflicts between social development and nature preservation and protection. Project includes following partners: Kampinoski National Park, Institute of Technology and Life Sciences, REC Poland, Warsaw University of Life Sciences. The total project’s amount has a value of 4.3 mln euro. It will be conducted till 2018.
